Antenatal
Adelaide Street - Thursday 10.00am - 12 noon
Kentmere Drive - Alternate Mondays 2.00 - 4.00pm
This clinic is run by the midwives. If you become pregnant, you will be given a 'booking appointment' at
which the midwife will ask you a few questions and carry out some general health checks. You will be seen
regularly throughout your pregnancy either at the practice or at the local hospital, or both.
Asthma
Adelaide Street - Monday 10.00am - 12 noon
Kentmere Drive - Tuesday 2.00 - 5.00pm
Asthma sufferers can drop in to this clinic for advice and support from our nurses who specialise in asthma care.
CHD/Hypertension
Adelaide Street - Tuesday 8.30am - 12 noon, 2.00 - 5.30pm and Friday 9.00 - 11.30am
Kentmere Drive - Thursday 2.00 - 4.15pm and Friday 9.00 - 11.30am
Patients are contacted direct, either by letter or
telephone, to attend these clinics.
Child Health And Immunisation
Adelaide Street - Monday 2.00 - 3.30pm, Baby Immunisation
Adelaide Street - Thursday 2.00 - 3.00pm, Baby Clinic (Drop-in)
Kentmere Drive - Wednesday 10.30 - 11.30am, Baby Immunisation and Clinic
All new babies are invited for regular check-ups from six weeks
old. Appointments are sent to you direct from the health authority advising you when to bring baby for their
immunisations. During baby clinics our health visitors are available to give advice on such issues as
parenting, nappy rash, feeding, minor illnesses etc.

patients diagnosed with diabetes.
Dressing Clinics

Kentmere Drive - Tuesday 1.30 - 4.00pm, Wednesday 11.00am - 12.30pm and Friday 11.00am - 12.30pm
Our district nurses run these clinics.
Minor Surgery/Wart Removal
Kentmere Drive - Monday 4.20 - 5.00pm
Treatment for warts with cryotherapy is available along
with minor surgery. Referrals will be required for these appointments from the GPs or nurses.
Well Woman/Well Man Clinics

Kentmere Drive
Our practice nurses also run clinics for family planning/HRT,
cervical smears and coil fittings. Appointments can be made in general clinics for well woman and well man
check-ups.
